Iniscarra | Co. Cork
The project by involved the refurbishment and extension to a former parochial house in Iniscarra, Co. Cork. The house was made up of a number of structures, some dating back over 200 years. The internal layout and circulation was altered to allow a working flow and connectivity through the house.
This involved replacing and relocating the internal stairs and opening new doorways between internal rooms. New bathrooms, kitchen, utility and pantry were installed, with a general up-grade throughout the property.
The living areas are located to the south/south-west, taking advantage of the light and existing views across the parkland of mature trees beyond.
External work to the grounds are an ongoing project.
